Our facilities are enjoyed by a range of customers including The German Saturday School Leicester who first started hosting their classes at Countesthorpe Academy in 2012. Since then the School has grown to nearly 150 students with more than 20 teachers.
“We run every other Saturday and provide active and fun German sessions for all ages and abilities. We also run a one or two week summer school each year and many special events, as well as official Telc German exams throughout the year.
“We love the bright big rooms we can use for our language classes at Countesthorpe which are equipped with interactive whiteboards and speaker system. There is a big kitchen as well we sometimes use for our active lessons – especially before Christmas for all the traditional treats we love to bake. We run a German Christmas market at the Countesthorpe Academy each December, a big Carnival in February, an Easter egg hunt in the surrounding park, and a German summer fair in July for all our 150 students!
“The facilities are great, reasonably priced and flexible with bookings, and there is always someone on standby ready to help should there be any problems. We have been at the location for nearly 14 years now with the German Saturday School Leicester, and have been able to attract families from as far as Manchester and Northampton due to the very fast access to the M1.”
